If you are new to the parish, we want to get to know you and serve you. Parish registration is the official way to join the Holy Cross community. Registering as a parishioner is as easy as completing an enrollment form and faithfully contributing to the parish with your time, talent, and treasure. Parish registration is expected for all who come to Holy Cross on a regular basis and consider this their parish.
The Department of Religious Education and Evangelization provides support to individuals and families, of all ages, in their life-long faith journey.
The Sacrament Preparation program at Holy Cross Catholic Church, in compliance with the Diocese of Phoenix Sacramental Policy Gift from on High, strives "to take care that those who seek the sacraments are prepared to receive them by proper evangelization and catechetical instruction;" and takes from the Sacramental Policy Grace, Mercy, and Peace that, "all Christian formation is to draw its' inspiration and direction from the principles and processes of the Order of Christian Initiation."
What identifies a steward? Safeguarding material and human resources and using them responsibly is one answer; so is generous giving of time, talent and treasure. But being a Christian steward means more. As Christian stewards, we receive God's gifts gratefully, cultivate them responsibly, share them lovingly in justice with others, and return them with increase to the Lord.
The Diocesan Policy and Procedure for the Protection of minors requires all clergy, employees, volunteers of ministry, and minors to attend training on an annual basis. In the Diocese of Phoenix all volunteers must complete "Called to Protect for Ministries" as a foundation course for Safe Environment.
