About the Multicultural Ministry

Our Mission

The mission of this Multicultural Committee is to deliver a message of hope in the midst of our culturally diverse community at Holy Cross Church. We are many faces in God's house. Through the ministry of the church we weave together a fabric especially from the rich strands of our combined American, European, Latino, African, and Asians (Vietnamese, Filipino, and Indian) memberships. Empowered by a realization of our common dignity as children of God, we would like to serve and to build bridges of understanding between various cultures.

Get Involved!

The community of Holy Cross is so unique because we are made up of so many different cultures! Take a look around and you will see friends from around the world: Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas!

We are looking for new members to join our diverse Multicultural Ministry to help educate and share our unique cultures with the rest of the community!

We meet as needed, for an hour and half, to plan and organize three liturgical events in the calendar year.

If you represent a diverse culture within the Holy Cross family, we would love for you to share your heritage with us and with the rest of the community.

Annual Events

Crowning of Mary: Each May, we celebrate the Crowning of Mary by praying the Rosary.

Mass of Thanksgiving: The Multicultural Committee organizes a celebration of the Eucharist each November.
